MY TRADING STORY
HOW MY TRADING JOURNEY STARTED
My trading journey started when a coworker of mine attended a trading seminar on the Las Vegas Strip. He came back excited about what he had learned and started bringing his laptop to work and trading during his breaks.
Watching him trade caught my attention. Eventually, I paid him $2,500 for private trading mentoring to teach me how to trade options. That was my first real introduction to trading and the beginning of my interest in learning how the markets work.
About three months later, I was introduced to futures trading, which led me to explore various Fibonacci trading programs. This new path sparked my curiosity, and I decided to invest $5,000 in a two-day seminar focused on Price Action trading methods.
THE MEETING THAT CHANGED MY TRADING JOURNEY
As I was leaving that seminar, right by the door, I met the man who would eventually become my trading mentor. We started talking, exchanged numbers, and he went on to provide me with private trading mentoring for approximately a year and a half. Looking back, I believe that meeting was God-sent.
My mentor had learned from five different trading mentors over the years. Two stood out, and the one who had the greatest influence on him was a senior trader at the CME. He taught me a range of strategies, including Fibonacci trading programs and various Price Action trading methods, helping to build the solid foundation I would continue developing through years of trading, studying, and experience.
MENTORSHIP WAS ONLY THE BEGINNING
I have been day trading the futures market for approximately seven years. Mentorship gave me a foundation, but it was only the beginning of my trading education. Over the years, I have made money trading, as well as experienced losses. I've gone through challenges such as FOMO, overtrading, revenge trading, impatience, poor stop placement, and taking trades I shouldn't have taken. Through my journey, I dedicated time to studying various Price Action trading methods and refining my understanding of Market Structure and Market Behavior. Additionally, I explored Fibonacci trading programs to enhance my analysis. These experiences shaped the methodology I teach today through my private trading mentoring, allowing me to develop and refine the way I read the market.
FIBONACCI MARKET MEASUREMENT
THE MARKET MOVES IN WAVES
Those waves can be measured using Fibonacci, particularly in Fibonacci trading programs. As the market advances, pulls back, continues, and reverses, Fibonacci helps us measure those movements and identify potential pullbacks, reversals, entry areas, and spots for profit-taking. A Fibonacci level identifies an area to watch closely. Meanwhile, Price Action trading methods inform us about what the market is doing, and private trading mentoring can further enhance this understanding.
HOW I READ THE MARKET
1 — MARKET CONTEXT
I begin by reading about Price Action trading methods, Market Structure, and Market Behavior to understand market direction and what buyers and sellers are doing, while also considering Fibonacci trading programs as part of my approach in private trading mentoring.
2 — AREA OF INTEREST
I identify important areas such as Fibonacci levels, which are key components in various Fibonacci trading programs, along with Order Blocks, the 20 EMA, 34 EMA, 200 EMA, Current VWAP, and Weekly VWAP, all of which are essential in effective Price Action trading methods. Additionally, I offer private trading mentoring to help traders understand these concepts better.
3 — PRICE ACTION
When the price reaches an area of interest, I observe the Price Action trading methods and look for evidence of how buyers and sellers are reacting, often utilizing insights from Fibonacci trading programs during my private trading mentoring sessions.
4 — 1-MINUTE CONFIRMATION
I utilize the 1-minute chart for entry confirmation, paying attention to Price Action trading methods like rejection patterns, long wicks or tails, engulfing candles, hammers, and shooting stars, which are essential for effective Fibonacci trading programs in my private trading mentoring.
5 — ENTRY
Once the market provides the confirmation I’m seeking, I can execute the trade using structure-based stops and clearly identified areas for potential profit-taking. By utilizing Fibonacci trading programs and applying Price Action trading methods, I ensure a disciplined approach.
